Dunkin' Donuts Is Adding Almond Milk To Its Menu, And America's Going Nuts

You'd be nutty not to love this addition.

For those who love Dunkin' Donuts coffee, but hate (or can't drink) milk or soy milk -- there's finally an alternative for you. Welcome, almond milk, to the DD family.

Though nothing can rock our world quite like the early arrival of the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks, this is pretty major news. Dunkin' Donuts has joined forces with Blue Diamond Growers, and will now be adding Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk to select stores.

Dunkin' Donuts said the lactose-free alternative will be used "as an addition to hot or iced coffee and lattes," and cited almond milk's popularity as the most used "non-dairy alternative" as the reasoning behind the move.

It will also allow consumers more choice when ordering coffee as John Costello, Brands' President of Global Marketing and Innovation at Dunkin' said, "We believe adding Almond Breeze almond milk now gives our guests a unique and delicious new way to enjoy our famous coffee or lattes." Your move, Starbucks.
