Chris Pratt won the summer with "Guardians of the Galaxy" and now it looks like he's set to own fall as the inaugural host of the 40th season of "Saturday Night Live." Pratt will take the 8H stage on Sept. 27, alongside musical guest Ariana Grande.
NBC has also announced that comedian Sarah Silverman will host "SNL" for the first time on Oct. 4, with musical guest Maroon 5.
Pratt won over comedy fans as a regular cast member of "Parks and Recreation," and now "Guardians of the Galaxy" has transformed the affable actor into a major movie star. He will be seen next in the upcoming film "Jurassic World."
"Saturday Night Live" airs Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
