'Take Me OUT To The Ballpark' Elevates LGBT White Sox Fans

Check Out This Awesome Response To The White Sox Being Attacked For Supporting LGBT Fans

Here's an inspiring response to what turned out to be a disappointing (but depressingly familiar) scenario.

In August, the White Sox announced that the sporting organization would begin sponsoring a night called "LGBT Pride Night: Out at the Sox," in celebration and support of the queer community. Anti-gay bigots then took to the White Sox Facebook page to express their disappointment with the organization for backing the initiative.

In response, Chicago-based director Sam Ciaramitaro has produced a short film titled "Take Me OUT To The Ballpark" that aims to elevate the voices and stories of five White Sox fans who are either identify as LGBT or support LGBT rights.

The touching film has already been met with a positive response on Facebook -- check it out above.
