Local Texas Station Tweets Out Very NSFW Gay Porn

Instead of an evening traffic report, the 32,000-plus Twitter followers of a local Texas news station got quite the eyeful this week when the outlet tweeted out some NSFW content.

On Wednesday evening, Time Warner Cable News Austin accidentally sent out a tweet containing explicit images from gay porn. The tweet read: "Traffic: Your 5:12 p.m. update. Too many!"

TWC Austin soon deleted the NSFW tweet, but not before raising some eyebrows.

There's a group of school children visiting our newspaper, I had to close the @TWCNewsAustin tab extremely quickly.

TWC Austin has since apologized to its Twitter followers for the inappropriate photographs.

The news outlet declined to give further comment Thursday.

This is the second time this week that a local TV station has accidentally tweeted out porn instead of news. On Tuesday, WREG News Channel 3, a Memphis CBS affiliate, apologized to its Twitter followers after tweeting out a link to a PornHub account instead of its weather tracker.
