Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be missing from Fox News for a "couple of weeks" as she takes time off to recover from an unknown surgery.
Her "Fox & Friends" co-hosts said Wednesday morning that Hasselbeck "had some surgery" on Tuesday but is "doing just fine."
“She is strong, she is tough, and a better athlete than me,” co-host Brian Kilmeade said on the air. "We heard from her last night and she said she is feeling good. So, in a short time, she'll be back on the set."
Fox News' Kimberly Guilfoyle stood in for Hasselbeck Wednesday morning, but there will reportedly be a rotating list of substitutions to take her place in the coming weeks.
The Huffington Post has reached out to Fox News for comment and will update this story if and when they respond. The network told The Wrap, however, that Hasselbeck "has asked for all to respect her wishes for privacy in regards to further details at this time."
