We Found You The Perfect Travel Wardrobe

Clothes that are beautiful usually aren't easy to take care of -- they require ironing, dry cleaning, careful storage -- but that's far from the case with Chiara Boni's stunning line.

The Florence-born designer got her start in 1971 creating a collection called "You Tarzan, Me Jane," which was a rebellious reply to the formal Italian fashion of the times. Though that was short-lived, she later went on to create La Petite Robe di Chiara Boni in 2007. Her collection is filled with basics and can only be described as the answer to every modern women's prayers.

Her designs are not only flattering on a variety of body types (she counts Oprah Winfrey and Teri Hatcher as fans), but they also require zero thought on your end -- you just put on her clothes and go. While the price points are a little higher than what we normally like to spend, the quality of her garments ensure that they will last much longer than your fast-fashion purchases. We could easily explain the genius that is La Petite Robe, but Boni put it so perfectly when we asked her about her collection:

What women want today is different from my mother's time, when women changed three times a day. Contemporary women want clothing that is easy, that will take them from day to evening, both appropriate for the office and sexy for the evening. In 2007, I asked myself a question: "What would I want to I wear?" The answer pushed me to create La Petite Robe di Chiara Boni collection. Elegant, comfortable, versatile and great fit are key words of this collection, that has no buttons, no zippers, that perfectly fold up into an organza pouch, easy to clean at home with no need of [sic] ironing. The ideal travel wardrobe.

We don't know about you, but we're already convinced. Check out some of our favorite items below and shop more of her pieces at Neiman Marcus, Saks and Bergdorf Goodman, among others.
