MSNBC's Alex Wagner snuck in one little last-minute dig at Scott Brown on Tuesday afternoon before election results start to roll in.
As the former Republican senator from Massachusetts waits to see if he's going to become the new Republican senator from New Hampshire, Wagner not so subtly hinted at the accusations of carpetbagging that have trailed Brown since he announced his candidacy for the seat in the Granite State.
"What's gonna go on with your ZIP code if you don't win tonight?" Wagner asked as Brown was walking away. "Are you gonna go back to Massachusetts?"
Brown shot back: "That's a silly question."
But Chris Matthews had the last word back in the studio.
"It's a tough question," he said. "Is he going to go onto Maine and try to take on somebody there?"
