Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) was re-elected to Congress from North Carolina's 5th District Tuesday, defeating Democrat and software developer Josh Brannon.
Foxx was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2004. She previously served in the North Carolina state Senate.
