Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead (R) beat Democratic challenger Pete Gosar on Tuesday.
Mead was running for a second term as governor of the Cowboy State.
Gosar stepped down as the Wyoming Democratic Party chairman in May, when he first announced his run for governor. He previously ran for governor in 2010 and lost in the Democratic primary.
