Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) was re-elected to Congress from Hawaii's 2nd District Tuesday, defeating Republican David "Kawika" Crowley.
Gabbard ran unopposed in this year's Democratic primary.
In 2012, Gabbard became the first Hindu ever elected to Congress. Crowley became known in that race for being the first homeless person in Hawaii -- and possibly any state -- to run on a major party ticket for Congress.
