Becerra Wins Another Term In Congress

Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.) was re-elected to Congress Tuesday, defeating Democratic challenger Adrienne Edwards.

Becerra was first elected to the House in 1992. Prior to that, he served in the California state Assembly. He serves as the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, and has emerged as a leading congressional advocate of immigration reform.
