Central Intelligence Agency Director John Brennan held a rare press conference Thursday defending the agency in the wake of new revelations on torture made public by the Senate Intelligence Committee. Yet in an even more unusual move, committee Chair Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) took to Twitter to immediately push back, even as Brennan continued to speak.
In a series of tweets, the California Democrat defended the accuracy of the report's findings and conclusions, as well as the evidence the committee sifted through during the nearly 6-year investigation. Here's a point-by-point sampling:
