Science Show Biker Bros Ask 'What Could Possibly Go Wrong?'

Don't Let These Nerds Near Your Car!

Kevin Moore is a metallurgist. Grant Reynolds is a veteran Marine Corps sniper. They met at a motorcycle rally, and now they destroy things on TV for your amusement.

Sound dangerous? That's the idea. But although Discovery Science's new show, "What Could Possibly Go Wrong?" purports to take a flying stab at the proverbial rolling donut of peril, Kevin and Grant temper that insanity with lots of precaution and know-how.

In the series premiere, which aired earlier this month, Moore and Reynolds attempt power slides in a Volvo over slippery surfaces of their design. It's controlled chaos with a satisfying side of property damage:

While it's not exactly 'Mythbusters' meets 'Jackass' -- yet -- the show could easily go that way. When one's mission is to explore and explain the science behind viral videos, there's a lot of disaster to avert. As Moore put it: "Bigger, better, faster, safer."

Moore and Reynolds joined the Weird News team to talk rail guns, death rays, helicopter sniping, exploding glow sticks, ballistic meatballs, and the inherent risks of ordering a true Philly cheesesteak.

"What Could Possibly Go Wrong?" airs Saturdays at 10 p.m. on the Science Channel.
