Jimmy Kimmel's Insults Are The Secret To Academy Awards Success

Jimmy Kimmel just made "Mean Tweets" seem like compliments.

As part of his post-Oscars show, the talk-show host introduced us to the Kimmel School of Perfect Acting. What's that? Well, it's basically Kimmel insulting all your favorite celebs and having them thank him for it. His star-studded student roster includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Lupita Nyong’o, Mila Kunis, Eddie Redmayne, Jennifer Aniston, Sean Penn and pretty much every other celeb, too.

Though his methods may be unorthodox, you can't argue that Kimmel gets results. Besides getting Matt Damon to play a convincing chair and lamp, he also persuaded Penn to take his famous role in "Milk," despite the fact that the actor says he's lactose intolerant.

Seriously, if that doesn't convince you of his genius, nothing will.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
