Sierra Leone Barred 'Visibly Pregnant' Girls From Graduating

Activists in Sierra Leone are raising alarm after the country's minister of education publicly said visibly pregnant students in primary and secondary school will not be allowed to take their exams.

On Thursday, HuffPost Live discussed the ban with Chernor Bah, an advocate for girls' education in Sierra Leone. "This is obviously a very sad, outrageous action by the government, and it's not only discriminate, but it really takes away from [their rights]," Bah said.
