The Future Of Interfaith

"The time is now for interfaith leaders to claim their prophetic voice and lead. The world is in need of people of moral and ethical courage to dig into the richness of their traditions and take a stand against the structural injustice in their communities. This is my prayer. Amen." -- Rev. Jennifer Bailey

The Future Of Islam

"There will always be people who don't understand, who are fueled by hatred, racism and bigotry. The future of Islam depends on Muslims deciding whether we will be fueled by examples of hope or examples of hatred. Around me I see many who are doing more of the former than the latter, and finding in turn a courageous voice that is both speech and action." -- Imam Khalid Latif

The Future Of The Catholic Church

"I care about this beautiful, controversial, hierarchical, historic, flawed, inspired, blessed, excruciatingly slow-moving institution. I don't know what lies in store for the church. But persevering through uncertainty with hope, is exactly what it means to have faith." -- Kerry Weber

The Future Of Judaism

"The Jewish tradition, people, and faith have three possible paths ahead: fracture, unity, or plurality. The path we choose will determine our future for generations to come. These possibilities are driven by realities that we never thought possible, either in Israel or the Diaspora." -- Rabbi Joshua Stanton

The Future Of Trans Faith

"The future of faith lies in how open we are to broadening its definition. Many of my trans friends have faith, though it's not necessarily in a celestial power or an earthly force. Their faith is in the love and support of the communities they have created for each other, knowing that their chosen families encircle them." -- Taj Smith

The Future Of Buddhism

"Buddhism teaches that our lives are completely interpenetrated, and none of us can be free until all of us are free. We are taught to see the suffering born of delusion, greed, and hatred in our own hearts and - by extension - our communities. And of course, right in the heart of the teachings, we see that liberation from suffering is also possible, if we are brave enough to keep our eyes open and our hearts dedicated to the work of doing so." -- Yael Shy

The Future Of Hinduism

"Over the last several thousand years, individual and collective practices described as Hindu have evolved organically to suit their circumstances, finding new relevance among new generations in new environments. Thus when imagining a future for Hinduism, I believe that, true to form, it will continue to flow forth - negotiating new terrain as needed, at once distinct and the same, sustaining life as it goes." -- Manav Lalwani

The Future Of The Sikh Tradition

"The Sikh Gurus rejected social inequalities of all types and advocated for the equal treatment of all people, no matter their gender, profession, or religious background. As our society struggles with increasing social divisions along the lines of race, sexuality, and income, the Sikh outlook of Divine unity has much to offer." -- Simran Jeet Singh

The Future Of Paganism

"We cannot tell the future of Paganism any more that one can tell the future of a small child. Traces of that child’s future may be evident through their budding personality and family resources, but the world has a lot of things it will eventually offer the child—both beautiful and harmful." -- Courtney Weber

The Future Of Spirituality

"As we collectively step out towards the future's unknowable horizon, spirituality can provide ancient means - enhanced by modern science, technology, ideas, and social progress - to help us find our way to a more flourishing future." -- David Bryce Yaden
