Bush Proposes Invading Gulf of Mexico to Remove Oil

CRAWFORD, TX (The Borowitz Report) - As the cleanup effort in the Gulf of Mexico continues to struggle, a novel approach to remove the massive oil spill came today from former President George W. Bush.

"I think we should invade the Gulf of Mexico," Mr. Bush told reporters at his Crawford, Texas ranch. "If you really want to remove some oil, that's the best way of doing it."

Mr. Bush proposed forming a mercenary force made up of BP executives and oil rig operators called "the Coalition of the Spilling." More here.
