Jennifer Furin, MD., PhD

Lecturer at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine

Dr. Furin is an infectious diseases specialist and medical anthropologist who has spent the last 20 years working on clinical and programmatic management of drug-resistant TB in resource-poor settings. Dr Furin has done extensive work in Peru, Russia, Haiti, Lesotho, Georgia, and South Africa, and much of her work in the last three years has focused on improving access to new drugs for people living with DR-TB, espeically for vulnerable populations, including people livng with HIV and children.
