I am 18 years old and I am from Indiana. I have been involved in Special Olympics for about two years. I was nominated by my school to become the partner-athlete to represent Indiana and represent the IHSAA within Special Olympics. I got involved to help promote the Project UNIFY movement across our state and create an atmosphere of inclusion and acceptance within my school and community. My favorite part of being involved with Project UNIFY is being able to participate in sports for our school with my best friends. It truly is incredible, and teaches us all that there is more to sports than winning.
