Ajay Singh Chaudhary is a lecturer at Columbia University and the founding director of the Brooklyn Institute for Social Research. He holds an MSc in Culture and Society from the London School of Economics and a BA in Near Eastern Studies, Religious Studies, and Government from Cornell University. His research focuses on comparative philosophy, Iranian and Islamic intellectual history, political philosophy, the Frankfurt School, social and critical theory, aesthetics, and post-colonial studies.
