National President, College Democrats of America
In August 2010, Alejandra was unanimously elected to serve as President of the College Democrats of America at the National Convention. Politics Daily has named her one of the “Five Rising Stars Age 25 and Under.” During her tenure, CDA organized the highest attended Winter Conference and named Senator Kirsten Gillibrand as their Honorary Chair. In May 2011 Alejandra delivered one of four nominating speech to elect Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz as Chair of the DNC.
In addition to College Democrats, Alejandra also serves as the Vice Chair of the DNC Youth Council. Alejandra is currently a senior at the University Of Texas McCombs School Of Business pursuing a degree in Management and will be attending Boston College Law in the fall.
