Archbishop Hallinan Professor of Religious Studies at Case Western Reserve University

Alice Bach is Archbishop Hallinan Professor of Religious Studies at Case Western Reserve University and the Director of the Hallinan Project for Peace and Social Justice. She is the author of Women, Seduction, and Betrayal in Biblical Narrative and Religion, Politics, Media in the Broadband Era, as well as many edited volumes and articles. A frequent visitor to the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Professor Bach is currently working on a book-length project entitled The Politics of Tourism: The Imagined Worlds of the Holy Land. She is also the author of more than 20 books for children and young adults. She lives in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a member of the Catholic Worker community.
