Amy Butte is the Founder and CEO of TILE Financial, www.tilefinancial.com, an online tool that helps engage and educate the next generation of investors about Spending, Growing and Giving their money. Before TILE, she helped take two companies public as CFO. Ms. Butte was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the New York Stock Exchange, from 2004 to 2006, where she served on the Executive Management Committee and helped lead the company through its transition to a public company and the historic deal with Archipelago. She is also the former Chief Financial Officer and member of the board of directors of MF Global. She joined MF Global in 2006 to spearhead the spin-out and IPO of the former Man Financial from Man Group. From 2002 to 2003, she was Chief Strategist and Chief Financial Officer of Credit Suisse First Boston’s Financial Services Division, which included Credit Suisse Asset Management, CSFB Private Client, and the correspondent clearing business, Pershing, preceding its sale to Bank of New York. Prior to that, she was a highly regarded Equity Research Analyst covering the financial services industry as a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns from 1999 to 2002. Ms. Butte began her equity research career at Merrill Lynch. Ms. Butte has a bachelor’s in Political Science and Psychology from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. She is a board member of Accion International and the National Organization of Investment Professionals (NOIP), as well as a selected participant in the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leader program. She has four step children ranging in age of 17 to 22.
