Amy Mullis is a humorist and essayist who lives in upstate South Carolina with her muses: Bill, her computer tech husband, Son One, her Muse of Sarcastic Answers and Undeserved Persecution, and Son Two, her Muse of Perplexing Questions and Inappropriate Dinner Conversation, not to mention assorted stray animals who stopped to smell the bacon and decided to stay. Mission Statement: “I'm supposed to be finding myself, but most of the time I find myself standing in line at WalMart matching coupons to a grocery list." Her work has appeared in Chicken Soup for the Chocolate Lovers Soul, A Cup of Comfort for Writers, The Ultimate Cat Lover, Christmas Through a Child’s Eyes, and various other anthologies as well as The Christian Science Monitor and Sasee magazine. She earned Honorable Mention in th2010 Erma Bombeck Writing Competition and served as the humor columnist for an online magazine dedicated to work-at-home parents, www.thewahmmagazine.com.
