Anca is a speaker, author, and president of Eco-Coach Inc., an environmental sustainability firm that assists leading organizations to evaluate, design, and implement sustainable practices for long-term organizational success and positive environmental and social impact. Anca has over fifteen years’ experience with strategic planning, change management, business process redesign, benchmarking and training. She has worked with companies in a variety of sectors, including energy, health care, retail, finance, utility, telecommunications, as well as with nonprofits and federal and state institutions. She has co-authored two books: ‘DC Metro Area Green Career and Jobs Guide’ and ‘Sustainability 101: A Toolkit for your Business’, and speaks frequently on various aspects of sustainability, with her audiences ranging from CEOs to sustainability specialists and champions to the general public. Eco-Coach is based in Washington DC, has been in business since 2006 and is a CBE and WBENC-certified organization. Clients include Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and non-profits as well as smaller businesses. Anca obtained her Masters of Business Administration in International Management from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
