Andrew Littlefield

Andrew Littlefield is a nationally board certified music therapist with additional training in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Music Therapy (NICU-MT).Andrew received his bachelor’s of music in music therapy degree from The Florida State University in 2011. He completed his internship with the Fulton County Schools Music Therapy Department, working with exceptional children in metro Atlanta. Following this, he worked for The George Center for Music Therapy during the summer of 2011. He then went on to earn his master’s of music in music therapy degree from The Florida State University in 2012, where he completed a thesis that focused on the use of music therapy within pediatric interdisciplinary clinics. While studying for his master’s degree, Andrew took classes focusing on teaching children with autism, crisis intervention, research methods, and grant writing. During this time, Andrew also worked as a music therapist for Progressive Pediatric Developmental Center in Tallahassee, Florida. Additionally, he served as a graduate teaching assistant at FSU, serving as the primary instructor for a music technology/song writing course.He is a member of the American Music Therapy Association and served as Treasurer of Florida State University’s student music therapy association during his undergraduate studies, in addition to serving in several officer positions in FSU’s Marching Chiefs.
