Angela Haines is a widely published freelance journalist and author who has reported for Fortune, Money, New York Times, Boardroom Reports, Associated Press, and Cosmopolitan. She has also taught business communications workshops at NYU and at The New School where she designed the first online course in business communications. In 1995 she founded AHGlobal Communications to provide in-house writing and presentation seminars managers in major US corporations. Among her clients are Citigroup, Ernst and Young, and Barnes and Noble. In 2006, she became founding director of the Henry Hudson 400 New York Foundation to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Hudson’s legendary voyage to New York. Recently, she joined Golden Seeds as a managing director to help support women in business.Besides Huffington Post, she also writes on women entrepreneurs for Forbes. Recently she has launched a website, wStartup.com to provide a hub for women entrepreneurs..
