Founder of OCG, a social good and philanthropic consultancy, and the Black Philanthropy Matters campaign. Writing about social good, entrepreneurship, and empowerment.

Anique Hameed is the CEO and Principal Consultant at Opulence Consulting Group, a social good consulting firm helping nonprofits, individuals and corporations to invest in their communities more strategically. As a social entrepreneur and public servant, Anique has helped to develop countless social impact organizations and programs. While working in the nonprofit sector she became aware of the severe knowledge, skill and resource gaps that were keeping organizations and individuals from making the greatest possible impact in the community. From that experience, she was inspired to create a resource to help changemakers make strategic, positive investments in the business of social good. The Howard University and Georgia University alumna was one of the first ever national ambassadors for P&G's My Black Is Beautiful community. As an ambassador she worked to highlight the unique value of black beauty, and to empower black women and girls to be their best selves inside and out. Through her work as an ambassador she has served on community panels, led empowerment discussions on the main stage at major events such as Essence Fest, and has hosted workshops for women and girls of all ages. Currently, Anique serves as a Board Member of HairOnPurpose, Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young girls to make healthy and purposeful decisions regarding their health and hair. Anique has been featured in Seventeen Magazine, O, Essence, Ebony, and on BET and BET.com. She is a proud member of the historic public service sorority Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
