Ann E. Green, Ph.D. is a professor of English at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia where she teaches writing and service-learning courses that focus on social justice. She grew up on a working dairy farm in Northeastern Pennsylvania that has been in her family for six generations. She has previously published in Academe, Calyx, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and American Rivers.
