Anna M. Laymon is a graduate student in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department at the University of Cincinnati where she is currently writing her thesis on sexual assault in the U.S. military. Anna works as a Victim Advocate for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking at the University of Cincinnati Women’s Center and at Women Helping Women, a non-profit, crisis intervention organization in Cincinnati. As both a military wife and anti-violence activist, Anna strives to create positive and meaningful change in sexual assault policies by empowering survivors and educating her community.
