Arna Bontemps Hemenway is the author of Elegy on Kinderklavier (Sarabande Books), a Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers pick. His fiction has appeared in A Public Space, Alaska Quarterly Review, Ecotone, FiveChapters, The Missouri Review, and The Seattle Review, and has been named a Notable/Distinguished Story of the Year in both the Best American Short Stories and Best American Nonrequired Reading Anthologies. He received his M.F.A. from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and is an Assistant Professor of English in Creative Writing at Baylor University.
