Audrey Bilger

Audrey Bilger is the Faculty Director of the Center for Writing and Public Discourse and Professor of Literature at Claremont McKenna College. She is the author of Laughing Feminism, a study of feminist humor in the age of Jane Austen. Her most recent book, Here Come the Brides! Reflections on Lesbian Love and Marriage, which she coedited with Michele Kort, was a 2013 finalist for the Lambda Literary Awards. She writes for Ms. magazine and the Ms. Blog and is a frequent contributor to Bitch magazine. Her work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, The Paris Review, and Rockrgrl. She is the Gender and Sexuality Editor of the Los Angeles Review of Books.
