Avis Richards is the Founder/CEO of Birds Nest Foundation, an award-winning non-profit group that produces documentaries, short videos and PSAs for charitable organizations. As Executive Producer and Director, Avis has granted over 300 films to other non-profits, with her stories impacting over 80 million people. To combat both childhood obesity and hunger, Avis also launched "The Ground Up Campaign," a national program that provides indoor gardens and curriculum to schools.
Avis serves on the Board of Directors for HELP USA, Sophie's Voice Foundation, Fans for the Cure, R Baby Foundation, React To Film, Greenbeetz, and Street Soccer USA.
