Beth Skorochod has 10 years of expertise in health communication and behavior change in resource poor settings. Additionally, she possesses strong skills in behavior change communication campaign development, project design and implementation; proposal writing and review; and capacity building and training on HIV issues at local and national levels.

As Senior Technical Advisor in the Sexual Reproductive Health and TB department at PSI, she works on the integration of HIV and reproductive health programming and communication; provides technical guidance to field offices on elimination of mother to child transmission, voluntary medical male circumcision, female condoms and key population programs.

She also supports PSI field offices with design, implementation and evaluation of communication campaigns; and develops health communication standards and materials.

Prior to joining PSI, Ms. Skorochod worked with the National AIDS Council in Swaziland to develop and implement a national behavior change communication campaign aimed at delaying sex among youth and supported that nation's first mass media campaign on reducing multiple concurrent partners, a campaign that garnered international attention. She also served as a communications consultant for UNICEF Swaziland for two years.
