Bob Crittenden, M.D.

Executive Director, Herndon Alliance and Family Doctor in Seattle

Bob is currently the Executive Director of the Herndon Alliance, a national coalition of over 200 organizations focused on communications and coordination with a goal of achieving affordable quality care for all people in America.

He also works as a Family Physician in Central and Southeast Seattle with urban underserved people. He has worked for the state legislature; was a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellow with Senator George Mitchell, was special assistant to Governor Gardner for health where he wrote and supported passage of the bill creating the State’s Department of Health; and is also a faculty member in the Departments of Family Medicine and Health Services at the University of Washington.
