Brent Tippen

Brent is the Associate Director of Public Affairs at Gilead Sciences based in Foster City, CA. Previously, Brent has served in numerous leadership positions in public and government affairs with Fitbit and Chevron. Before joining Chevron, Brent was a media and communications representative for a prominent U.S.Senator, a media spokesperson for the American Cancer Society, and worked with Entergy Corporation, an electric power producer and is Founder and CEO of The Tippen Point, a public and government affairs firm specializing in corporate public & government affairs. A native of West Monroe, Louisiana, Brent resides in San Francisco, California. In his spare time Brent enjoys travel, distance running, politics, spending time with his family and volunteering with a few nonprofits he holds close to his heart. Views expressed are his own.
