Sunny serves as a campus minister for the United Methodist Church in Tyler, Texas. She is a pastor, writer and the director of Wesley House - an intentional Christian community made up of students who attend Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas at Tyler. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She earned her Mdiv at Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University and her Dmin at Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. Her heart is to empower, equip and encourage others to live out their calling. Sunny, her husband and her 9-year-old son live and serve God with the students of the neo-monastic Wesley House.
