Carol J. Scott MD, MSEd, FACEP is a practicing Board Certified Emergency Physician and Health Educator trained at Johns Hopkins University. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and trained at Duke University. Dr. Scott is a Wellcoaches® Certified Health and Wellness Coach, a founding fellow of the Institute of Coaching Professionals Association, and recipient of the Educator of the Year Award from the National Association of Women Emergency Physicians. She is a former Physician Hospital Surveyor for the Joint Commission on Healthcare accreditation (JCAHO) and former Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

As a thought leader in stress management and wellness, she created four concepts: BestStressZone™, MindPause™, The CEO Model of Wellness™ and S.M.A.R.T. Thinking™.

Dr. Scott is a Wellness Coach and Advocate for C-Suite Leaders, executives and their families. As a corporate speaker, she has shared her insights on health and wellness at Morgan Stanley, UPS, Oracle, McDonalds, Discovery Channel, Barron’s, Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly Clarke, Professional Business Women of California and Working Mother 100 Best Companies. She has also spoken at the Governor’s Conference for Women in California, Pennsylvania, Texas and Florida.
