Carolyn I. Rodriguez, M.D., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at Stanford University and Director of Director of the Translational Therapeutics/Rodriguez Lab: https://med.stanford.edu/rodriguezlab.html Dr. Rodriguez utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to finding treatment for patients suffering from compulsive behaviors such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and hoarding disorder. After graduating from Harvard University, she completed the M.D.-Ph.D. program at Harvard Medical School-M.I.T. Dr. Rodriguez then completed her internship, residency and postdoctoral fellowship at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center-NYSPI. Dr. Rodriguez is the recipient of numerous awards, including most recently the Eva King Killam Research Award from the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology and the A. E. Bennett Research Award from Society of Biological Psychiatry. Her research is supported by the National Institutes of Mental Health (NIMH), NIDA, Robert Wood Johnson (Harold Amos Award), NARSAD/BBR Foundation and private donations.
