Born and brought up in Central Kenya, Carolyne is the sixth of nine children. Although her passion is in media, she decided to study Information Technology when she got a scholarship to attend the American University in Dubai. She recently graduated first in her IT class and is the first in the family to ever go to college. Even so, her passion for journalism lives on -- a career she hopes to pursue immediately when she gets an opportunity. She also enjoys reciting poems and acting.
