Carrie Brennan is the executive director of CITY Center for Collaborative Learning, a nonprofit focused on designing, implementing, and advancing exemplary practices in teaching and learning that transform the lives of young people and their educators. Carrie is an award-winning educator, whose background includes teaching, school leadership, and teacher training. She has helped launch two new high schools in Tucson, Arizona, serving as a founding teacher at Catalina Foothills High School in 1992 and founding principal of City High School in 2004. Carrie is a board member of the School Reform Initiative and serves on the University of Arizona’s College of Education National Advisory Board.
