Chandra Taylor Smith heads Audubon's unparalleled nationwide network of 44 nature Centers and more than 460 local Chapters as well as Audubon's education department and flagship corporate partnership, Toyota TogetherGreen. Since she started at Audubon in 2012, Taylor Smith has established a sustainable structure for launching the cross flyway strategy, Creating Bird-friendly Communities (BFC). Already, BFC launched a national Lights Out initiative as its first signature program and has designed a three-tiered BFC architecture for engaging conservation action at the individual, public, and community/landscape scale.
