Chloe Taft is author of From Steel to Slots: Casino Capitalism in the Postindustrial City (2016), a look at experiences of economic change in Bethlehem, PA, the former headquarters of Bethlehem Steel that is now host to an industrial-themed casino. She earned her PhD in American Studies from Yale University and has taught urban studies at Yale and Lake Forest College.
