Christiana Z. Peppard, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Theology, Science and Ethics at Fordham University in New York City. She is a graduate of Yale University (Ph.D.) and Stanford University (B.A.). She writes and lectures on religion and science, environmental ethics and Catholic social teaching, and fresh water in an era of economic globalization. She is an OpEd Project Public Voices Fellow.
