Christine L. Owens is the Executive Director of the National Employment Law Project. A long-time employment and civil rights attorney, Ms. Owens previously served as Public Policy Director of the AFL-CIO. During the 1990’s, she led the broad coalition of labor, religious, civil rights and community organizations that won passage of the 1996 federal minimum wage increase.
