Recognized by The Guardian as one of their “50 Women to Watch,” Chrysi is a passionate believer in the power of technology and people to change the world.

She started in web 1.0, as a founding member of Espotting - Europe’s first search marketing network – that launched in 2000 and powered the paid search results on Yahoo!, Lycos and Ask. Chrysi helped grow Espotting to 250 people across 8 European countries before being part of the team who sold the company for just under $200 million.

Since 2009 Chrysi has led (RED)’s digital efforts and (RED) has been recognized by Devex as being “In a league of its own when it comes to social media following….(RED) is the only (cause) organization with more than 1 million Facebook likes and more than 1 million Twitter followers.” (RED), which was founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver to bring consumer power to the fight against AIDS in Africa. (RED) partners with the world’s most iconic brands – eg: Apple, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, Shazam – and to date because millions of people have chosen to buy (RED) products, (RED) has raised over $190 million with 100% of that money going to AIDS programs that have helped impact 14 million lives.

Chrysi holds a BA in Economics & Politics, and MBA from the University of London, and has taken human rights courses at Columbia University. In 2005 she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship. In that same year Chrysi, in her spare time, was Head of Marketing for Sound Films who’s short-film Hibernation won the Edinburgh Film Festival and the Manhattan Short Film Festival.
