Colleen Kraft, M.D. is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, and Pediatric Program Director, Carilion Clinic. Dr. Kraft is a primary care pediatrician with Carilion Pediatric Clinic. She serves as the Senior Medical Officer for MajestaCare, a Virginia Medicaid health plan in development with Carilion Clinic as a Medicaid Accountable Care Organization.

Dr. Kraft attended Virginia Tech as an undergraduate, and completed her M.D. and pediatric residency at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals. She served as a primary care pediatrician in private practice in Richmond, Virginia before her appointment at Virginia Tech Carilion.

Dr. Kraft is a co-author of the book Managing Chronic Health Conditions in Child Care and School. She is the past president of the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and currently serves on the National Center for Medical Home Project Advisory Committee and the Early Brain and Child Development workgroup at the AAP, and is on the content expert panel for Text4Baby.
