Conan Neutron

Musician, Podcaster, Rabble Rouser, Malcontent

Conan Neutron is a musician, and the frontman and bandleader of the rock band Conan Neutron & the Secret Friends. He has released many records, toured the United States many times and has done all of the things that independent bands normally do with that band as well as in Replicator (2000-2008), Mount Vicious (2008-2009) and Victory and Associates (2010-2014).

He runs the weekly rock 'n roll talk radio show/podcast Conan Neutron's Protonic Reversal as well as the 24/7 streaming radio station it airs on Radio NOPE.

In addition to such direct non-partisan creative activities he has written about, worked in and around participated in progressive politics for at least 15 years. He was also the curator of Project: Courage and Consequence a rock compilation LP/Digital Download and grassroots culture jam by the same name of Karl Rove's memoir and the head of Bands Against Bush from 2003-2004, an open source movement designed to register young voters at rock shows and raise awareness of vital political issues. He has worked on a number of political campaigns in a multitude of capacities, and believes strongly in a participatory democracy, and that more politicians need to listen to fugazi, DEVO and the Melvins.

He lives in Oakland, California and probably doesn't sleep enough.
