Co-founder and CMO, Repurpose Compostables

Corey Scholibo is journalist and author who is also the co-founder and CMO of Repurpose Compostables, a consumer products company that manufactures compostable cups, cutlery and other picnic ware for retail with a mission to replace single-use plastic-based products. He is the former arts and entertainment editor at The Advocate, writes for various LGBT publications and has appeared as an expert on LGBT media and issues on CNN, Good Morning America, and E! News, among others.

Corey is a veteran of the public relations and marketing industry. He has handled public relations and strategic marketing for brands such as Tiffany & Co., MAC Cosmetics, James Perse Enterprises, SKYY Vodka and Discovery Networks, as well as for personalities such as Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller, Eric Idle, Patrick Stewart, Woody Harrelson, Cynthia Nixon and Rachel Weisz.

Corey lives in Los Angeles with his partner of six years, and in his spare time he is working on his first novel.
