Designed to feature and commemorate the cultural achievements of Hip Hop, the National Museum of Hip Hop represents the cultures pride as well as educates and celebrates its accomplishments over the years.

“Hip Hop is a powerful movement that has impacted American culture from the suburbs to Madison Avenue,” stated Craig Wilson, CEO and Co-Founder of the National Museum of Hip Hop. “The goal of the National Museum of Hip Hop was to create a culture preserving organization that accurately documents the four elements of Hip Hop. Hip Hop has long deserved an institution that captured its history and we have received tremendous support from the community, pioneers and current artists since our inception to build the Museum into a global entity.”

Prior to co-founding the National Museum of Hip Hop, Wilson was the CEO of Mantis Management Solutions, a business management and marketing consultation firm for many New York Tri-State Area businesses. Wilson was born and raised in the South Bronx and graduated from Rutgers University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Always a leader, Wilson served as Captain of his high school football and basketball teams. Demonstrating tremendous will and having a knack for beating the odds, Wilson landed a regular spot in the rotation on the Rutgers Division I basketball team as a walk-on student-athlete.
